With a distinguished career in international banking, corporate finance, and risk management, Haroon has held leadership roles at Citibank, ABN AMRO, BMO Financial Group, ENBD, Techcombank, and Standard Chartered across Canada, the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam. He has led capital advisory and fundraising for public and private companies, specializing in transaction banking, business transformation, and risk management. He was instrumental in establishing Standard Chartered’s Transaction Banking division in Vietnam and led Techcombank’s award-winning Supply Chain Finance program in 2019. He also served as an Independent Board Member at Saigon Hanoi Bank and Vice Chair of the Strategy Committee. Haroon holds a Bachelor (Hons) in Business Economics and Finance, is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT), North America, and a member of CPA Australia. He earned his MBA from the University of Houston, Texas, USA, and completed the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) program at the National University of Singapore.
